Our family has immense gratitude for the strength and love that Katherine brought to our shared experience of our beloved mother’s end of life. I truly feel that we couldn’t have done it without Katherine, certainly not with the mindfulness, grace, and love we all felt. Katherine has a presence that is compassionate and confident which allows for quick connection. She immediately connected with Mom as a kindred spirit. Katherine supported Mom in embracing her life story, living in the moment, and in making sure that none of us walked this path alone. She shared her knowledge and experience to prepare all of us for what Mom’s final days and moments would look like. Katherine brought a calm, spiritual presence to our long days with in-home hospice and created space for our family and friends to share love, to experience grief, and to celebrate every moment of our mother’s last days with us. Both Mom and our family were able to courageously face Mom’s death with Katherine’s support. She has been a true partner to our family throughout this stage of life and she continues to provide comfort, care, and resources to our family.
